St. Patrick Center’s Healthy Housing Initiative (HHI) team and program continue to innovate services and housing priorities by addressing social determinants of health in our newest home for our most vulnerable clients. With an earmarked award from Congresswoman Cori Bush’s office, we were able to purchase this 12-unit building, which is located next door to McFarlane Place, a St. Patrick Center-owned 24-unit property that primarily serves veterans.

With this purchase, St. Patrick Center will create a combined campus called Harmony Village, with green space that will support raised garden beds and other horticulture opportunities to benefit our HHI, veteran and Hospital to Housing program clients. We will be providing intensive case management and other supportive services on-site to assist our clients with addressing their health needs. In addition, by establishing a 24/7 onsite presence, we will be increasing security and safety for our clients and staff.

“Harmony Village is an important step forward in our ability to serve HHI and other clients with the greatest needs,” said Chris Stephen, St. Patrick Center CEO and executive director. “By providing an environment with onsite case management and 24/7 support resources, we can more effectively accompany and guide them on their journey to health and stability.”

St. Patrick Center expects to have Harmony Village ready for occupancy by March 2025.
