Refugee Volunteer Operations VISTA

The VISTA will focus on enhancing volunteer relationships with Refugee Resettlement staff and monitoring our volunteer management system, Duplie, for effectiveness.
The VISTA member will improve the support volunteers receive from resettlement staff by Monitoring and adjusting procedures to unify volunteer goals and efforts for clients with staff more directly. They will also research volunteer programs at other resettlement agencies that support case managers for best practices. Additionally, the VISTA will work to ensure that Duplie and other changes implemented in 2023/2024 continue to benefit stakeholders. Lastly, the VISTA will work on increasing our overall number of volunteers and community partners through the development of sustainable procedures.
This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.
