Development Evaluation VISTA

The VISTA will support the Development Department to increase effectiveness of fundraising efforts to alleviate poverty for the underserved community of Genesee and Shiawassee Counties.

The VISTA will serve as a vital member of the development department to increase effectiveness of the department by evaluating processes and creating Standards of Practice. The VISTA will act as a member of the marketing team to increase brand awareness, community visibility and social media presence. As a member of the development department, the VISTA will work closely with the Development Director to monitor the internal non-federal grant procedure and participate in multiple phases of that process. VISTA will serve as a member of multiple committees to create and execute unique and engaging program specific fundraising activities throughout the year. VISTA will participate in all major development activities that are scheduled that are designed to build brand awareness, raise funds for specific programs, and increase volunteer numbers.

This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.
