Position Summary
The Site Coordinator will foster a welcoming atmosphere for those calling or visiting, identify areas of service most appropriate to the needs and desires of each client, and refer guests to appropriate resources within the Castle Rock office or, when appropriate, to outside referral sources. The Site Coordinator will assist in the daily functions of department operations, coordinate and develop donation resources, and provide goods and consumables to meet the needs of clients in coordination with other staff in support of healthy engagement of clients.
To partner with the Regional Director in the internal/external responsibilities of department programs to include client, project, and partner management, particularly around services to our Spanish-speaking clients. The Site Coordinator will coordinate these services with the Director and Client Advocate team members and participate in case conferencing for clients with ongoing needs or requests that are not within usual guidelines.
Essential Duties
- Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service to clients, community members, and collaborating organizations.
- Responsible for answering and promptly returning all calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Triage clients based on their needs, provide resource navigation, schedule appointments, and coordinate on-site services such as food pantry, gas cards, shower/hotel vouchers, etc.
- Responsible for the proper functioning and maintenance of office equipment and the security of confidential information.
- Train and supervise on-site volunteers, assign tasks, and record volunteer hours in Better Impact database.
- Provide administrative support for the Regional Director and all other staff such as preparing for meetings, managing inventory, ordering office supplies, processing donations, coordinating feedback surveys, etc.
- Responsible for collecting, managing, and reporting on data related to clients initially served on site using database systems.
- Coordinate, execute, and develop reporting process for seasonal projects/events (holiday programs, coat drives, outreach events, and other activities).
- Participate in ongoing training and be responsible for following Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support.
- Work with Regional Director to promote the safety and security of clients and other visitors through the active monitoring of potential threats and development and adherence to safety protocols.

- Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management systems
- Ability and willingness to work within the established structure of the Castle Rock office.
- Enthusiasm for and commitment to the principle of helping others to help themselves.
- Knowledge of Douglas County and other state and regional community resources.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow directions and interpret policies and procedures to ensure compliance, ability to prioritize projects and follow through.
Work Environment
- A majority of the assigned duties are performed in an office environment.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Associate degree preferred, or currently enrolled in higher education classes in human services field.
- Two years of experience providing human services or customer service.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $18 – $19/hour. Salary is determined based on the applicant’s incoming skills and experience, and the budget at time of hiring.
Position Classification
- Nonexempt
- Part Time: 28 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Fridays off.
