The primary responsibility for the Manager, Team Up Programs is to identify and develop programmatic responses to emerging issues and trends in the fields related to the Team Up and Bridgebuilding grants and goals flowing from the National Collaborative. This individual will manage the Team Up related- AmeriCorps VGF grant for which CCUSA is a sub-recipient and Habitat for Humanity International is the National Intermediary. This individual will also facilitate CCUSA’s members’ knowledge of and ability to engage volunteers and bridgebuilding methodologies to provide quality services, and encourage and assist CCUSA members to network, share information, and collaborate with each other to bring about Community Change. Specifically, they will support the network with learning opportunities to bring people together across differences to work for the common good.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate the bridgebuilding training programs, workshops, webinars and conference calls for the CCUSA network
  • Develop and share a variety of training materials and resources for bridgebuilding training, workshops, webinars and when feasible utilize train the trainer model
  • Manage relationship and act as the CCUSA representative for the VGF- Team Up project
  • Coordinate the sub grant process for VGF program participating agencies
  • Provide technical assistance and coaching to agencies in the completion of grant mandated activities
  • Monitor grant activities through ongoing communication and check-ins and periodic site visits with sub grantees
  • Write comprehensive, on-time grant status reports to ensure compliance with all grant requirements
  • Work with the Finance Grants Manager on the development and monitoring of program budgets and reports to ensure sound fiscal operations
  • Provide oversight for project and program research and evaluation
  • Regularly involve and consult with supervisor for guidance, decision making and support.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Team Up Project partners and with national, regional, and local organizations related to the Team Up grants
  • Represent CCUSA externally to further organizational bridgebuilding priorities and facilitate information sharing and collaboration in the field.
  • Consult with other staff members internally on designated program areas to assist in planning, problem resolution, skill building, and internal integration to better serve member agencies
  • Serve on select internal committees

Education & Experience

  • BS/BA degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with program administration.
  • Experience leading community engagement initiatives preferred
  • Training and education in bridgebuilding and/or peacebuilding preferred.

Work Environment

  • This position is located in Alexandria, VA.
  • This position may require extended periods of standing, sitting, as well as some repetitive movements, bending and repetitive lifting of minimal weight
