Justice for Immigrants Conference brings together immigration advocates
Catholic Charities USA is participating in the national convening of the Justice for Immigrants campaign. The event brought together more than 300 Catholic Charities staff, diocesan staff, state Catholic Conference Staff, CLINIC affiliates, men and women religious, parish ministry leaders, deacons, and lay members of the Catholic community. Topics included immigration reform, immigrant detention, parish organizing, immigrant integration and advocacy, communication, and messaging for immigrant and pro-reform policies. Archbishop Blase Cupich and Sr. Donna Carroll provided keynote remarks.
CCUSA has long supported the Justice for Immigrants campaign and continues to work in collaboration with USCCB and other Catholic partners to support just and fair comprehensive immigration reform.
