How we help reduce poverty in America
Since 1910, CCUSA has served as a national advocate for the most vulnerable in our nation, guided by the basic belief in the inherent dignity of every human being. CCUSA, vigorously advocates for poverty reduction programs at the federal level, supports our local agencies in their provision of essential services to those in need and establishes collaborative partnerships to end poverty in America.
Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) serves as the voice of those living in poverty, calling for more effective and efficient poverty relief solutions and convening thought leaders from across the public, private and nonprofit sectors to identify pathways out of poverty.
Blends health, human, and social services to enhance Pre-K-8 learning.
A residential program that educates, trains, and counsels homeless men.
Grants permanent housing to chronically homeless women.
Provides therapy to adoptive families to support stable homes.
Catholic Charities USA supports our agencies across the country in their work to provide critical services to those in need, advocates for justice in social structures and calls the entire church and other people of good will to do the same.
