March 22-27, 2015: From Mission to Service

Through a collaboration between the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and Catholic Charities USA, Catholic Charities agencies have the opportunity to take part in a unique learning experience designed exclusively for senior leaders of Catholic Charities organizations. From Mission to Service examines how faith-based mission imprints decision-making, leadership and organizational practices. April 6, 2015: Social Venture Boot Camp Application Deadline

The Social Venture Boot Camp, offered through Catholic Charities USA’s (CCUSA) partnership with the University of Notre Dame, is an opportunity for CCUSA members to strengthen their social enterprise efforts and dace the pressing challenges associated with financial stability head-on. Applications for the 2015 Social Venture Boot Camp are due no later than April 6, 2015 and acceptance will be confirmed by the first week of May. April 17-18 & May 15-16, 2015: PSM Regional Trainings

The PSM Regional Trainings are weekend conferences designed for parish staff and volunteers, diocesan staff and volunteers, and Catholic Charities leaders in social ministry to learn more about the Catholic social mission and discover effective strategies to respond to need and injustice. Upcoming trainings include April 17-18, 2015 in Charlottesville, Va. and May 15-16, 2015 in Portland, Maine.

April 22-24, 2015: 2015 Diocesan Directors Spring Gathering

Diocesan Directors of Catholic Charities agencies from all over the United States and territories will be meeting in Alexandria, VA from April 22-24.  This year’s meeting will be especially exciting in that the Directors will welcome and get to spend time in dialogue with our new CCUSA President, Sr. Donna Markham.   Click here for more information.

May 30-June 13, 2015: The O’Grady Institute

The O’Grady Institute provides a continuum of formation opportunities for diocesan directors of Catholic Charities agencies, including retreats, webinars, and tours.  Through advanced study and reflection on scripture, history, spirituality, and theology, diocesan directors may further form their hearts to strengthen them in their ministry. June 13-19, 2015: Leadership Institute

The Leadership Institute is a week-long interactive training uniquely designed for Catholic Charities leaders and those being groomed for higher levels of responsibility. The Institute provides an opportunity to deepen your commitment to the mission and vision of Catholic Charities, enhance and strengthen your spirituality, leadership, and management skills, and develop a personal plan of action.  This year’s Leadership Institute will be held in Lutz, Florida June 13-19th, 2015 at the Bethany Center. September 10-12, 2015: Catholic Charities USA Annual Gathering

CCUSA’S Annual Gathering is the pre-eminent gathering for Catholic Charities professionals, volunteers, and partners to advance our work, develop poverty reduction strategies, and celebrate our shared identity. Attendees at the gathering come away with innovative program ideas, templates for future work, and new skills to broaden their community’s commitment to fight poverty. The 2015 Annual Gathering will be held September 10-12, 2015 in Omaha, Nebraska.

November 2-6, 2015: The Applied Institute for Disaster Excellence (AIDE)

AIDE is designed to equip the Catholic Charities network and diocesan staff for their roles in disaster preparedness and response. The Institute provides participants with the skills, understanding and tools necessary to ready their agency and diocese for disaster response and preparedness. More information is coming soon!
